Starting position

Shown below is the starting position for a chess game.

Rules:   
 
1.  The chessboard must have the white square in the bottom right corner.
 
2.  Players select colours by a choice of hands - a player hides a pawn (one colour in each hand), the other player selects a hand.  They then play with the colour chosen.
 
3. The queen is placed on its own colour in the middle of the chessboard (see diagram above).  
 
4.  White moves first, followed by black.
 
5.  Players take alternate turns moving.
 
6.  Players cannot pass or skip a move.
 
(*Remember: White on the right and the queen on its own colour.)
